One benefit in particular is educational assistance. There was a time in my life where I had to leave school to take care of my family. After six months of employment, I was able to return to school to further my education. It is great because you get 100% reimbursement for a grade of A,B, or C up to a maximum of $3,000 per calendar year. Reimbursement includes tuition, books, and fees. It was a fantastic opportunity. I was able to work full-time to take care of my family, and attend school part-time. Over the years, I've been promoted twice, and now I manage my own Cumberland Farms store. Recently, I have earned my bachelor's degree in business management. My education helps me run my store more efficiently. In the near future, I plan to return to school to earn my master's degree, and hopefully become an Area Sales Manager.
