Ari Haseotes, Chief Executive Officer
Back in the spring of 1939, my grandparents Vasilios and Aphrodite Haseotes bought a farm in Cumberland, Rhode Island. Their dream was to make a better life for their growing family. They bought a cow and a calf for $84, and suddenly the Haseotes family was in the dairy business. And it's been a fantastic ride ever since.
Today Cumberland Farms is one of America's largest family-owned convenience store chains. In fact, we're one of the largest family owned companies of any kind in the country.
But by no means are we resting on our laurels. The Cumberland Farms brand is currently going through a number of exciting changes; new leadership, exciting new store designs and terrific new products like our delicious Farmhouse Blend coffee.
Every one of these new changes is designed to fulfill our promise of making every day easier for the communities we serve.
It is something the entire Cumberland Farms family has been doing for three generations now. And my promise to you is that we'll keep on doing it, and keep on providing our customers the best possible products at the best possible value.
Just like my grandparents did over seventy years ago.
