EG Group Partners With United Way

EG Group and the over 1,700 convenience stores it operates across the country, announced an in-store fundraising campaign with United Way.
EG donations will help drive funding for youth development and educational resources across the communities in which EG Group convenience stores operate. The convenience stores participating in the fundraiser include Cumberland Farms, Certified Oil, Fastrac, Kwik Shop, Loaf ‘N Jug, Minit Mart, Quik Stop, Tom Thumb and Turkey Hill.
To participate in the cause, c-store guests may visit their local EG convenience store from September 8th through October 6th and donate a dollar amount of their choosing to a local United Way chapter at checkout.

EG Group Expands With New Kansas Store

WESTBOROUGH, Mass. —EG Group tomorrow is set to open its newest location on Air Cap Drive in Park City, Kansas, featuring a Kwik Shop convenience store showcasing the company’s latest design, equipment and menu along with a Burger King and newly designed Cinnabon bakeshop and coffee bar.
Spanning more than 8,100 square feet, the new location offers three distinct dining options, 10 gas fueling stations across five islands, 45 parking spots and the convenience of curbside pickup/order ahead capabilities at Kwik Shop available with the SmartPay Rewards app, EG Group said.

New Fall River Cumberland Farms is one of only 8 like it in U.S.
8/6/2021 FALL RIVER — The new Cumberland Farms that opened last Thursday at the corner of Brayton Avenue and Stevens Street is fairly unique in a couple of ways.
It’s only the eighth store among more than 550 Cumberland Farms locations in eight states — most in the Northeast but also Florida — that has incorporated the brand’s Farmhouse Fresh To Go “store within a store” concept.
Stores with Farmhouse Fresh To Go have on-site kitchens where sandwiches and wraps are made to order and where rectangular deep-dish pizzas, muffins and croissants are made from scratch.
Kitchen workers also cook thinner, round pizza pies and British-style meat and vegetable pies called pasties that have been prepared at the Cumberland Farms commissary facility in Westborough, which also serves as its headquarters.
