  • Cumberland Farms CIO Charles Jarrett, wins Boston CIO of the year award.

    June 8th 2019- The Boston CIO Leadership Association, in partnership with the Boston Business Journal, celebrated its finalists and awardees on June 7 at the annual Boston CIO of the Year ORBIE Awards breakfast at the Westin Copley Place in Boston.

    This year's honorees were recognized among finalists in five categories: Global, Large Enterprise, Enterprise, Corporate and Nonprofit/Public Sector. The breakfast event at the Westin Copley hotel included a keynote speech by Jeanne Ross, principal research scientist at MIT Sloan School of Management's Center for Information Systems Research.

    The information technology executives that were honored include:

  • 7th Annual Cups for Kids Fundraiser Raises a Record Total of $151K for Five Northeast Pediatric Hospitals

    WESTBOROUGH, MAss., October 18, 2018 – Today, leading convenience retailer Cumberland Farms announced that its 7th annual Cups for Kids fundraiser raised more than $85,000 for Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center. Throughout the month of August, five cents from every iced coffee purchased at Cumberland Farms locations throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island was donated to support the life changing technologies and pediatric care programs at Floating Hospital for Children. To celebrate, Tufts Medical Center hosted a check presentation on September 25th.


    “We are so proud to make this contribution from another successful Cups for Kids fundraiser,” said Ari Haseotes, CEO of Cumberland Farms. “We are grateful to the community for their participation in this program over the past seven years. This support helps us enable our partner hospitals to make a difference in the lives of their patients.”


    This year, Cumberland Farms will donate a total of $151,000 raised from the Cups for Kids fundraiser to its five hospital partners across the Northeast. In addition to Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center, participating hospitals include the following:

    • Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock
    • Bernard & Millie Duker Children’s Hospital at Albany Medical Center
    • Connecticut Children’s Medical Center
    • The Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital at Maine Medical Center

  • Cumberland Farms to donate portion of sales Friday to Cpl. Cole Memorial Fund

    This Friday, Cumberland Farms locations across Maine will donate a portion of the proceeds from certain drink purchases to the Cpl. Eugene “Gene” Cole Memorial Fund.

    Cole, 61, was shot and killed in the line of duty during the early morning hours of April 25 in Norridgewock.

    From 12 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. Friday, May 18, 10 cents from every eligible drink purchase will go to the fund.

    Eligible drinks include fountain and coffee purchases.
